Welcome from the Scottish Leader

Tavish Scott was this week announced as the new leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats. He was elected through an all-member ballot with 59% of the first preference votes.

Our priority is to deliver positive policies on the issues people in Scotland care about most: health, education, crime, the environment, the economy and young people.

We are committed to promote a fair, free and open society in which no person is held back by poverty, ignorance or conformity.

Scottish Liberal Democrats are determined to build on these values and deliver imaginative, exciting policies for the benefit of every individual and every community across Scotland.
