New Plans from the National Liberal Democrat Leader.

Nick Clegg has been pushing the party's key messages on the environment, education, health and the economy hard this week.

Today he's given two keynotes speeches - in the City of London and to the Guardian Public Services Summit.

On health, he has put forward plans to guarantee everyone suffering from mental health problems a first appointment for treatment within 13 weeks of referral. You can read the speech at http://tinyurl.com/2v3zto

On the economy, he has warned that a new era of financial discipline, an end to tax rises, and an economic stimulus package of tax cuts for low and middle income earners is needed to steer Britain through the coming economic turmoil. You can read this speech at http://tinyurl.com/2e3xuq

Environment -This week has also seen the launch of a new Facebook campaign by Steve Webb and Nick, pushing for tougher CO2 emission targets. Labour's current proposed 60% cut target just isn't enough to fight climate change.
